The Cub Scout Program Boys are organized into Dens of 6 to 8 boys by age. Dens meet once a week (usually Thursdays at the Modular #2 Building) during the school year. All dens meet as a Pack once a month during the school year, usually on the third Thursday of the month. Pack meetings are a time for presenting boys the awards they have earned and to have some fun as a large group. Dens do not have regular meetings during the summer, but Pack 26 does meet for 1 or 2 special events during July and August. Our Pack does a lot of other things besides den meetings and pack meetings, including our favorite, camping. Pack 26 attends the Cub World events 3 or 4 times a year. These all day events are filled with games and activities for Cub Scouts and their siblings. We combine this with family camping at Cub World on those weekends as well. The Pack holds a Pinewood Derby in January each year and a Raingutter Regatta annually in June. Summers are a great time for Pack cookouts including our traditional get-together on July 4 for the Norcross City Fireworks. All of these summer activities are optional, but of course they are a lot of fun. Click Here for a Calendar of Pack 26 Activities for 2004-2005! (Acrobat pdf file)
